The Coat Hook

Well it has always been such a useful little thing, sitting there happily ready to take your coat or hat etc. but if we are going to be honest it really is not the coolest thing in the house. That is until today! Fresh in at Prezziesplus is the very cool Ninja Coat Hook!
These things look to realistic and will liven up any hall way! OK so they are not quite real Ninja Stars that you have to through at the wall for them to stick in (which is what we first thought before we got them in) but in fact one of the 'points' is very cleverly designed and is in fact a screw which allows you to simple screw them into the wall like you would with any coat hook.
Everything about this guys looks very real down to the 'sharp points' which in fact are smooth and very coat friendly.
Yet another item from Prezziesplus which there is no doubt about it will start a conversation the next time your friends pop round to say hi.

The Wine Aerator!

Something for those Wine connoisseurs (me not being one of them!) or just anyone that enjoys and glass from time to time! This little gadget is for you all!
Wine needs to breathe and we all know you get home from work and there is no why you are going to look at that lovely open bottle of wine for half an hour before you drink it ??
Well we now have the answer that enough improves that cheap bottle of plonk you brought on the way home in the supermarket.
As wine breathes, it opens up and releases its intended aromas and flavours. The Vinturi Wine Aerator draws in and uses the proper amount of air for the right amount of time, allowing your wine to breathe instantly; you'll appreciate a better bouquet, enhanced flavours, and smoother finish.
Perfect aeration in the time it takes to pour your favourite glass of wine.

You can buy stuff with nearly anything on these days....Including 'fakebook'!

A new website i stumbled into the other day (well i think its new anyway) seems to be selling some very funny t-shirts, caps, mugs and even shirts for your dogs!!

The T-shirts have a range quotes on them but all based around 'fakebook' which i think you can all work out what that's a spoof of, but i do think they are pretty funny and would make a great gift for everyone you know that cant keep of a certain social networking site. But really the point of this post, as the site got me thinking, it does seem that these days pretty much anyone can very quickly set up a business selling t-shirts with quotes or what ever on. Something i do enjoy doing is collecting t-shirts etc. with different quotes of logos on (most of which end up being quite nerdy like my ubuntu jumper) so i may have to get myself one of these. Anyway i guess your all dieing to have a look at the site to grab yourself one so here is the link.

Free Power for all!
I think these things are one of the best inventions and gadgets of the last few years, i my self do not in fact own a 'pocket solar charger' but i do quite a bit of camping and many of my friends do have them.
They have to be one of the most useful things to have when out in the country side, as these days most come with a fist full of charger connections so you can recharge pretty much anything and most of them will store the charge so when there is sun you can charge it ready for when it is needed. Saying that i have found many of the new solar charges in fact work pretty well in conditions where there is very little bright sunlight which just shoes how the technology is moving on!
Now knowing my love for these gadgets you can think how over joyed i was to in fact find out that prezziesplus are now stocking these little guys, and i hope to get my hands on one soon (as infact im going camping this weekend!).
i know i know i said there where going to be less posts about stuff from prezziesplus but this was a gadget i just coulnt pass up talking about. Stay in tune tomorrow for more posts!

Charging has just got 'Messless'
Messless® is a universal charger suitable for use with any kind of electronic device, eg. MP3 players, mobile phones, video game platforms, PDAs, digital cameras and much more.
Giugiaro designed, its elegant and modern design means it goes perfectly with any space or decor, whether at home or in the office. Its stylish design combines form and functionality.
Forget the cords, as its name implies, this product is designed with 'less mess' in mind. Messless® is a charge station that lets you forget the tangle of chargers and cords you need to keep your electronic devices charged and ready to use.
Never run out of battery, the end of an era is near. Having a Messless® always within reach couldn't be easier - keep one at home and another in your office.
Use the mini USB or Apple connector to charge your device from any USB port! Simply unplug them from the Messless and then use them from your laptop or PC. Note, does depend on the software level on your device, however we have tested with various Applie iPods and Blackberry phones.
The list of compatible connectors is constantly being updated to keep up with the latest electronics on the market.
And what else can i say this is one of my favorite new items in, makes charging everything sooooo much easier and whats best it saves on power plugs which in a old house like mine is always a good thing. Plus i think it really does look very funky and is something you would really want to show off to your friends.
Contents:-
1 x Messless charge station
1 x AC / DC Adapter
1 x AC cable
1 x DC cable
6 x connectors compatible with / to charge:-
– 1 x Nokia
– 1 x Nokia Mini
– 1 x iPod
– 1 x Mini USB
– 1 x Sony Ericsson K750
– 1 x PSP
User manual
Specification:-
Weight (approx.): 485g with connectors / 450g without connectors
Dimensions:
– Width: Top surface diameter: 20cm
– Height: Pop up in low position: 5.4cm; Pop up in top position: 6.4cm
Input: 12 VDC, 5 A
Output (each terminal): 4.5 - 5.4 VDC, 500mA
Temperature range of use: 0ºC - 40 ºC
NB: Messless® is not designed to charge devices such as laptops or others which require a higher voltage to charge.
NBB: Some customers have remarked that there are feint plastic lines near to the connectors on the top plastic surface. During the plastic injection process, these marks are called WELDING LINES. When the plastic material flows around the holes of the connector, separating the liquid plastic in two different streams, the two streams join at the opposite side of the injection point. These are perfectly normal and every Messless has this characteristic.

The Wiki Digital Camcorder - Final Review
Well where to start...
There are many good points about this small camera, one of which is the speed and easy of use which made it something you would want to have with you every second of the day, as within 3 seconds from pressing the on button you would be able to take a photo or start recording video. Which i have to say is great if you suddenly get caught up in something you want to take a picture of like say someone famous driving by? You really don't want to be spend 2minutes trying to get the right setting and find the right button, this camera makes taking pictures that bit easier simply press the on button then your away switch between video and picture mode just as easily pressing the 'mode' button. There are then up and down buttons that are used for zoom and then a switch on the side to change between 'hi' and 'low' resolutions. The set up means that anyone can use this camera even someone that has never used a camera before and really doesn't want something that will make them look back at the intrusions every 5 secs.
I also think this camera is perfect for bloggers/youtubers/twitters or anyone else of the sort as the quickness of the camera means you catch every moment of what goes on. There is also a USB that slides out the top of the camera so you can plug it straight into your computer and upload your picture and videos very quickly, The resolution for the video is also set to what youtube describes as 'the best resolution to use what uploading video'.
The camera does use 2 AA battery's which i thought would be a pain as i would have to carry lots of spares and be forever changing them, but over the whole 2 weeks i was in the US i never had to change the battery's at all, it still even says it has about 50% life left. So what can i say i guess dew to the simpleness of it, and not having a fancy camera or flash it is able to use very little battery life.
The only real down side to this camera is it doesn't remind you to take it with you where ever you go! There where a few times when i forgot to bring it and ended up kicking my self for doing so. So if they bring out a Wiki digital camcorder V2 it should have this on it defiantly.
But apart from that there isn't really much i can say bad about this camera, you would be very hard pressed to find anything as good and easy to use in that price range. I would really recommend this for anyone that doesn't want something with lots of menus and options and just wants to be able to take pictures, or even someone that really wants to take pictures quick and never miss anything.

The Last Post of my Trip
Well firstly in case you didn't know Ted kennedy's funeral was in Boston on saturday, so this was the start of a few things that made my trip back a pain.
So i got to Boston airport and it was raining and very grey and well very English really, but the thing was we where wondering if my flight was going to be delayed or canceled because of this, as it was just the start of a tropical storm that was moving up the east coast. I got through check in after being put into basically a holding pen for 30mins because i had a paper ticket so had to wait for a real person to check me in. This was a pain but was ok, and i got through secuirty very quickly as it was a internal flight so there where not many people around, and i got to where the plane would be coming in very quickly. I saw the board that tells you times etc. and it siad my flight was on time which was great, but i did have about a hour to wait so i found a seat got out my headphones and listened to music. Now about 5 mins before boarding was ment to start the plane still wasn't there so something was up, and you guessed it something was up, dew to the weather the plane wasn't going to be able to land until like 30mins after it should have, which really wasn't good for me as i only had a 1 hour and 10 mins before my next flight left Washington from when i should have got to Washington.
Well after about 20mins the plane was able to land and boarding took place so i had a little more time as they said they where going to try and make up most of the time in the air, basically push the engines a little faster. But as we where lining up to taking off, they then said they where not able to take off for like 15 mins as the US planes had to take off first (basically all the planes with the people from Ted's funeral) so it not meant once again i would be very hard pushed to make it to my flight one time.
Once we got in the air we did make up some time and once we got into Washington they left people with connecting flights off first which was handy, it gave me about 30 mins before the flight left to get to it, it was going to be really close but there was a good chance i was going to make it. So i ran to the screen found where the flight was and ran to the gate.
But luckily all was ok as my second flight had also been delayed dew to weather (so i guess all flights coming in/out of Washington had been delayed? maybe who knows), this ment that all was fine they hadn't even started boarding. After getting on the plane everything went to plan which was great, one thing that did make me laugh was as the captin was doing his speech thingy at the start (you know welcome to the flight thank you for flying with us etc etc) he said "and in the pocket in front of you, you will find the magazine with infomation on what will be showing on your tv's, which is completely useless as the technicians have already uploaded Septembers programs and we don't have the September magazine yet". This really made me laugh and was a real pain as he said what was on what channel and if you could remember you had to ask a member of staff for a peace of paper with it on.
Apart from this the flight was fine and i got back into London at 6am, dad picked me up and off i went home to sleep and try to get back into the England time.
And that is my trip to the US over, what can i say i had a amazing time and enjoyed every min of it and really wish it didnt end to quickly, but oh well i guess its back to the normal boring dya for me..

Day 5 - hair
well i have to say from the start I'm sorry for not having any pictures of my time in New York, but I forgot to get the camera out the first day and then i found the battery's need to be replaced (that's what you get when you play with it alot and drain them). Right now I'm on the bus so later tonight i will be uploading what pictures I did take for you all to see, until then enjoy the blog...
We started really early again this morning (I swear nearly every morning is a early one in new york) as we had to get a boat at 9.
So we were up bright and early at about 6 and headed for somewhere to grab something to eat. After eating a very nice meal of bacon and eggs we headed for the subway, like all subways this was very busy at this time, but we where there first stop so we got seats and where fine. After a 30 min or so bus ride we then walked through battery park (not the place where battery's where invented like my grandad said), and found the ferry place to take us across to lady liberty herself. The people at the ferry where very nice and moved us to the front of the line (as my grandma says nothing like using the 'blind card').
So got over to the island, it was a nice ride very hot but a light breeze made it live able. We got off the boat and as we were getting off they men said o don't worry about lining up just come up here and sit on the bench (strike two for the blind women). As we walked up heading for the statue, we got the voice tour thingies to listen to while we got in line to go inside the statue. After about 45mins waiting we made it inside and i have to say it was amazing, however we only where able to make it to basically where the statue itself starts as the rest of the way was closed off, but you could look up and see inside it which was cool.
Then after coming back down and having a nice walk round the island we headed back for the ferry, and back to the hotel as by now it was really time for a cold shower and a few hours relaxing. As we came up to the ferry they had already started to load people on, so we did as the guy head send and just walked up, as he spotted us he told the whole line to start and let us through, as we pasted him i said 'you really love this don’t you' he said 'yup, i love having the control...sometimes i just make them stop and move back for the fun of it'.
The trip back was fine and i just longed for the hotel room, which when we all got back felt so good just to have a shower and lie down for a while, ready for the real event of the day...
As the evening came around we yet again met up with my grandparents friend (she was so kind and basically worked out everything for us to do which was great) and headed for dinner. This was the only evening that we had a nice quite fancy meal (i even put on a shirt (no i hadn’t been topless the whole time...i mean a nice shirt)), it was a 4 course meal and was very nice indeed. After this it was time for the days main event, to go see the musical 'Hair', it was quite possible nearly my fav. Musical of all time (second to the rocky horror picture show), it was so cool to see basically what it was like in the 60's and if you ever get the chance to see it you really should. It really made for a great evening, and is a very interactive musical in the sense that the people come down from the stage and come and do stuff to the people....like give out flowers and kiss them and well i will not give it all away, you will just have to see it!
After it ended we headed back to the hotel for the last night’s sleep before we head back to Boston.
